Q. Lee Sorrell, III, PE
Lee has been a structural engineer with Laurene, Rickher & Sorrell, PC for over 25 years. Lee has a diversity of clients and user types; however, one of the major user types of the past 25 years has been Hospitals and other medical service providers. He has provided structural engineering services for hospital additions from Florida to Massachusetts. Lee has been the structural design engineer for many multi-million dollar hospital additions in the East Coast region. A large portion of these hospital additions were constructed on or adjacent to existing facilities’ structures.
In addition, Lee has spent a great deal of time in the design of Airport projects. These projects have ranged from renovations to new terminals. All of these projects have been on existing airport facilities which have required extensive coordination and creative solutions to work around existing utilities and airport services.
